My 2004 pontiac grand am keeps stalling on very hot days.?

when it gets hot out after driving awhile all of a sudden the idle drops and starts to lug, if I give it any gas it will stall immediately, if i put it into neutral and dont touch the gas and let it just chug a little after about 1-2 minutes all of a sudden it will "catch" and the idle goes up to smooth and normal and i can drive off. If it stalls it wont start up for usually at least 5 minutes. Most does this in the city. on the highway its much better, but it stalls almost every time on my way ho,e as soon as i crest the mountain and start going downhill. It did this last summer as well and did not do it once over the winter. After it stalls the first time, and i get it running again my cruise control wont work at all, even when im on the highway running good. not until i let it sit for a few hours will the cruise work. I have checked at the schraeder valve on the fuel rail when thiis happens and it seems to have good pressure still. If anyone can help I would really appreciate it! thank you... btw it has a 3400 v6 and is a automatic. car does not seem to overheat when this happens, its usually tight around the middle of the gauge. It feel alot like a vapor lock of the old days, only I rhoufhr fuel injected engines cant vapor lock...tjamls again.

Okay, so I'm confused here, wondering if I should follow the first gym program I have or the second, the first one is a routine workout such as abs, chest, arms, cardio everything in one like a full body workout almost mainly focusing on the upper body and the days are monday, wednesday, friday ... Then my other workout is for like certain parts of the body for each day, so like for example , chest and biceps monday, back and triceps tuesday, ABS friday, but I was thinking following that routine may give my chest too much of a rest cause that means I only work the chest again on the following monday ? it depends on the toothpaste. the really strong minty ones tend to hurt my tongue more. if the toothpaste is really minty is it SUPPOSED to burn your tongue or something. im using crest white 3d right now and it hurts like hell when i brush.

Why are my teeth so stained?!?

Okay, so this saturday i'm going out with a guy and need to get my teeth super white. Most of the time during summer i'm rushing to get in bed cause i'm exhausted so i just wash my face with acne cleanser and brush my teeth with a Reach toothbrush (forgot the brand, sorry). Throughout the school year i would use Listerine Whitening (the before rinse) and my teeth would come out really white. So now, where i'm going out saturday, i've been giving my teeth at least a good 12 minutes before jumping into and right after i get out of bed. I use Listerine Whitening Rinse, brush my teeth with my Reach brush (that also has whitening) and use Crest Extra Whitening toothpaste, and then use Crest Whitening Rinse (for the after) and it still doesn't come out white (and i've been keeping this up for a week, so i should've already seen some improvement. That's the way it always is during the school year)! I never drink coffee and the only type of soda i usually drink is Mountain Dew. My cat has immune mediated hemolytic anemia...has anyone experienced this?

I love my cat Patches, he is about 4 1/2 years old, and about 2 months ago he was diagonsed with this. He went through a heck of ride, needing an immediate blood transfusion, bone marrow testing, ultra sound, and IV's. At first they had a few options on what they thought it could be. It started out as possibly lymphoma cancer, or leukema. Thank god it did not come back as either of those, that is when she told me it was the immune sickness and we started him on his medicine. The vet I took him to took care of him so well. I was VERY happy with their service! When we took him into the ER, his anemia level was 7%, and he weighed 2.5 lbs:(. To this day his anemia level is up to 32% and he has DEF. gained weight!! He is currently on prednisone, which has helped A LOT! He is a very playful cat, and is back to being that. We take him now into the vet every 2 weeeks, and so far his medicine has been slightly lowered. The vet told us the better he stays, the lower his medicine will drop. I have read that they can become immune to the medicine but that is why slowly we lower the amount. I was just wondering if anyone has a cat who has been diagnosed with this, and how has it been since?

Any way to whiten naturally yellow tinged teeth?

My teeth aren't horribly yellow, as I don't smoke or drink coffee, but they do have a yellow tinge to them. My hygiene is fine and I have tried all types of whitening products, but nothing seems to help. Clinique 3 Step or Osmosis Skin Care? Please Help!!?

Hey guys, really trying to find a good skin care line. I dont have horrible acne but enough to make me want to get rid of it once and for all, I do have a bit of redness on my cheeks and temples so im assuming thats Rosacea. Cycling low grade fevers after treatment for spinal infectinon?

By may 2010, she started cycling fevers and pain again. In Jan 2011, she started to have severe back pain again and fevers... March 2011, drs found her spine had fractured and then put metal rods back in to stabilize her spine. 24 hours after this surgery, her fever returned Drs could not locate infection. . She did 6 weeks of a picc line again and is currently on oral antiobiotics. Within the last 2 weeks, she has started to cycle low grade fevers, fatigue and back pain again. We have heard that residual infection can be left in her scar tissue and muscle around the spine and as she does more and moves more, this residual infection comes to the surface as fevers. Has anyone heard of this? We are desperate to get our daughter well.

For around 4 days now I have had a steady sharp pain in my right side. It has gotten little by little worse and worse. At night it hurts the most when I lay down. I've had braces for several months now and noticed that my gums have gotten really swollen. I went to the dentist's office and they just said to brush better. How to get rid of gingivitis...?

Hi I have gingivitis and I guess that it is partially my fault because I don't floss my teeth very often. I am not going to go to the dentist (please do not say to go to the dentist because it is not going to happen for financial reasons). I feel like it is in a way not my fault because I was brushing with "Crest" that had mini whitening strips in it and I didn't realize until last week that is did not protect against gingivitis. I want to get rid of my gingivitis as fast as possible without visiting the dentist or getting a prescription. I am now using Crest total care, flossing my teeth, and rinsing my mouth with heavy salt water. Is that going to make it go away? My mom and dad dont have the ideal relationship, they never talk to each other, my dad sleeps in the room downstairs and spends most of his time at work. I know that this may sound like a horrible family, but it works for us. Yesterday my mom and dad got into it pretty bad and my dad packed a couple things and left the house. He came back at like 10 that night and he slept at the house. I want to know what to expect from this whole process. I completly tore my ACL and am for sure getting surgery. I just wanted to know what happens before and after the procedure. But first..which is better for an active patient hoping to play sports after the surgery..cadaver or hamstring replacement? Which is more painful and why? Also some questions about the actual surgical experience..What happens with the anesthesia and such before? Does it completley knock you out? Is there an IV? Or is gas used? After the procedure..do the painkillerers relieve just about all amounts of pain? What part is most painful after the operation? How to treat high blood pressure whilst battling diabetes and cancer?

My father has high blood pressure which is caused by his cancer (since it has become metastatic the tumors cause it to elevate even after administering medication, which then requires going to the ER). The problem is that his blood pressure gets extremely high but his sodium levels are very low due to his diabetes (he sweats it out). He has many doctors which treat him for various problems and they all have their own opinions as to how to treat it which can be contradictory with what his other doctors say. His last visit to the ER (yesterday) his doctor who treats him for high blood pressure ordered an IV with sodium chloride. A few weeks ago his blood sugar dropped to 32 which had a serious effects on his brain causing him to hallucinate and be out of touch with reality. Luckily hes not in a coma which is what happens with situations like this, but unfortunately the damage done to his brain is permanent. My question is, how do we treat high blood pressure when his sodium levels are very low?

How high up the social class chain can my fiction character be?

I am writing a story. My character is supposed to come from a very wealthy family in England. I am wondering how high up the class system he could be without really changing anything in my story. The family is very old and he inherits a large estate after his grandmother dies. She was of the class that she would have been presented to the queen at the appropriate age, entertained on a very large scale, etc. I've tried to research aristocracy, etc. but it's very complicated. In the story his father tries to take the estate but the grandson fights him (legally in court) and wins and it makes headlines. After that he's an heir to one of the oldest and largest estates in the country. But, how much power could his family, or even he, have without being nobility? He lives a pretty reckless wild life but he's rich in the second half of the story and somewhat powerful. I know some names go back thousands of years, surnames, but they don't necessarily signify anything. A million could have the name Bainbridge for example but to have an old name, a family name, a family crest, how would that work? Any suggestions on what he and his family would be are very appreciate.

Hey, im 15 and from London and i've heard Edmonton isnt too great of an area. just keep yourself to yourself whilst waiting for the bus, dont stare at people or sit there playing with your phone etc as those things attract attention to yourself. Honestly though you should be fine, ive never had trouble on or waiting for a bus and i sit upstairs on my own regularly with my iPhone in clear view haha, if your still worried then stay downstairs on the bus (if its a double decker) and sit near the driver, in my area you find the older adults stay downstairs and the teenagers n young adults go upstairs so to be safer stay downstairs near the driver. Why is my moped running sluggish?
