How to make a 10-gallon tank taller?

I'm getting a crested gecko baby soon, and I have a 10-gallon regular tank from my previous lizard. I know 10-gallon regular is the bare minimum for a baby crested gecko. So I would like to know if there was a less expensive way to make my tank taller, than to buy a completely different tank. I have a screen top for mine, so I dont know how I could keep it on its side, and still be able to get into it. Maybe I could cut out the bottom of a tupperware container and duct tape it onto the top of my tank? Possibly?
